Monoliths of the Mind
Monoliths of the Mind is a dark gothic wave track built around the idea of inner architecture — the silent structures we carry inside ourselves, formed from memory, shadow, instinct, and survival.
The song moves with a collapsing groove: warped bass pulses, gated snare, unstable barlines, detuned analog synths, and eerie oboe lines circling around a dry, close male baritone vocal. There is a deliberate sense that the music is always one step away from falling apart, yet still held together by a strange, stubborn pulse.
The lyric explores the hidden monuments of the self: those unnamed shapes within us that are older than memory, but not without purpose. These monoliths are not ruins, and they are not relics. They are living silence. They are the places where lost directions, buried fragments, and unspoken truths continue to breathe.
